OK. This is my first release in a long time, but it's been a worthwhile wait. I'm going to keep this short, so pay attention.

This script adds 40 (yes, 40) quests to RO. These quests are accessable via a "Treasure Hunters Guild House" which is based in a building in the lower left of Yuno city. So if you already have NPC's in this building, you will probably want to clear them out or move them before implementing this script.

Basically, the way this works is:

Players pay 25k Zeny to join the guild. Upon membership they recieve a "Guild Pass" Which they must keep on them at all times in order to apply for quests. Once signed up, they can then accept new quests from the questmaster. Quest difficulty varies, and the harder the quest, the bigger the rewards are.

The quest rewards are handed out in what are called "Treasure Hunter Tokens". The players collect these tokens, and can use them in the guild shop in exchange for Zeny, or rare items.

This script was originally concieved to help support classes, who seldom get rare drops since they are never part of the main fight. This way, they can put time and effort into questing, rather than fighting, to get the items they require.

Please bear in mind that you will have to create new items in your database and your clients setup for this script to work. These items are as follows:

these will need to continue up to 10_qset
<Item's to be created> : <What they should look like> - <Item Number> : <Item Name> : <Description>

Treasure_Hunter_Proof : Foolishness_of_Blind - 7021 : THG Membership : Certified Proof of being a member of the Treasure Hunter Guild.

Treasure_Token : Leather_Bag_of_Infinity - 7042 : Token Bag : In this bag are yellow token's for use in the Official Treasure Hunter Guild Shop.

Jeramiahs_Jur : Jur - 1250 : Jeramiah's Jur : Special made Jur for Jeramiah by our blacksmiths.

Zeds_Staff : Staff_of_Soul - 1472 : Zed's Staff : A proto-type of a new staff witch a wizard named Zed needs.

Just as I like my ego fed, I like to return the favor to those worthy. This is a really damn good script. Well formatted and easy to follow from a coding perspective. I can't wait to implement this on my server. This will give my users tons of new stuff to do and talk about too. Excelent job Newbe5. :angry:

Yes we work magic :(

It might take a couple months to create the magic but when the magic is complete it normaly turns out great.

In this I also took Geffen level 4 and turned it into a Dungion for members that join the THQS, so if you don't have a mob for that map, I suggest making it.

But im happy you guys like it. :blink:

Please, everyone, don't forget to give out hearty thanks and praise to Ezekial. He created this script originally, I just rewrote it to work with Aegis (if/else statements were completely fucked, etc, and I tested it on my server for about 2 months, during which time I changed a lot of stuff and fixed bugs).

Well people don't know me here.

I made this withing a month of learing how to script for RO, It was origanly going to be 80 quests that you could pick in sets of 3-5 but then after 2 months I decided to only make it 40 and maybe add in a second NPC later with another 40 quests.

But i don't have any plan on doing that anytime soon.

bout you might want to change some things an it, like items if you don't want your server to be able to get all the rare items in the game, prices, and how many tokens the quest gives.

OK, for those of you that want a new version of this script, a newer version is nearly completed. It only changes some small things, but basically it removes all the super rare cards from the "Token Shop" and replaces them with less rare ones. It also changes the prices on some of the other items.

This is because some people were complaining that this script was making it far to easy for users to get super rare items. This is, in fact, the case on my server, since we only have a 3x drop rate. But on other servers with stupidly high 20x drop rates or something, it probably won't make it much easier, since it'd be pretty easy to get them anyways.

I'll post the new version of the script tomorrow so you can pick whichever you want to use for your server.

Yes you will always want to mod the script in the way you think it will best fit your server, your hardcore players will burn through quests though no matter how do make them though.





Also, if you use the script tell us what your server thinks of it. If the community has a positive responce to the script then I shall start to work on some "add-on's" to the script.

Capn tried it on his UltimaRO server and I really enjoyed it! Good work man...it added alot of depth to RO. I hope he adds it back soon...

go into your guest and add thos. Since its for quest like how npc's work like 2-1 quest.
