Features:
Shadow Prontera and Shadow Izlude - act as parallel worlds
-total of 20+ quests, there are few find-the-monster-drop quests, the rest are uber challenging
-Shadow Izlude colliseum (my personal favorite), pits players in parties of 4 VS logic and monster stomping with time constraint
-players have to solve enigmas/riddles in some quests
-merit-point // town seal obtaining system
-Over 6 custom maps (dupes of existing maps + touchups)
-use of shadowfog effect in towns, to give shadowy feeling
-New music on all quest maps
-New items related to quests
-much much more.


Theme: parallel worlds exist, RO and shadow RO, players have to travel to the shadow realms, do a variety of different quests and earn merit points which earn SEALS (2 in total - 1 from pron and 1 from izlude). There are a total of 15 unique quests, at least 12 of which have never been attempted in scripting in any scirpts i have ever seen.. time logic, search and kill, just to name a few. These scirpts have been running on my server for 2 days now flawlessly, tested and in play by 800+ people who just adore them.

The difficultly level according to the average RO-player is : 9 out of 10.
Although some areas of the quests are a 10 out of 10 difficulty.

Hey Capn. Script seems to be working quite well on uRO. With a few of the higher lv chars it still seems to be quite a challenge but provides something entertaining ^^. Nice job, and i admire your persistance to keep going on with it lol.

Hm. Mabey one thing ot update would be make a few more with some new custom items, though that would make it another couple of hours to do lol.

Now. to finsh all the quests :crazy:..

I see entries for these items in the "event" table, but shouldn't they also be in the "monmakingitem" table or something?

i skimmed through it, it looks nice

however i can't afford to make the recommended drop changes. i could use about 2-3 more columns in the mvp table and 2 more in the normal drop table as is.

OKs Capn, Found something that might require a fix or not depening on what people think heh.

basicly if you enter the shadow RO area you get the world pass. Which your ment to use to get out of the area. But It seems if you use a priest to warp you out using the Warp portal skill, then you can bring the pass back to the normal server.. Mabey disable the warp portal skill while inside shadow RO?. Then agian, can the world pass be used in normal RO?

I originally intended it to be so that you cannot warp into shadow world with a priest, but seeing how a memo is saved whenever a priest saves in the shadow town there's no way of avoiding the memo save unless you disable the skill altogether. And to disable the warp skill would be hectic and probably not possible.. seeing how there's 4 different warp skill levels (1 through 4) so the npc would have to check what level the current char had, then you'd have to have 4 different variables in the guest table in script db to accompany this and remove the skill , then replace it back... but if they ever wanted to skill reset it would be a problem since it wont take into account the disabled warp skills... so you'd be screwing priests over with their warp skills...

The way i have it on my server now is that world passes are used by playes to warp between normal RO and shadow RO, which are obtained by mvpin'g as well as doing some of the quests offered by the ppl that live in shadow RO. And priests are warping people in and out whichisnt a big deal really, some dont have priests to do this for them so thats wherethe world passes come into play.

ALso, there's been huge updates since i posted the original scripts above, I've added Shadow Morocc, a 3rd colliseum, and some fixes in the scripts.

You can disable skills easily by removing them when the character enters a warp portal. Have the same portal give them an item so that when they pass back through it checks for it and gives them their skill back. I believe that when a skill is removed the zone gives back the skill points used. So you don't have to have it check the level of the skill. This way no one can memo on those maps and if you don't pass through the specific portal you won't get the items to return to the normal world or get your skills back.

This is not true, and that is the exact problem why I could not disable priest skill points. When skills are removed from a player and then the player resets skills they will not get the amount they are supposed to, instead they get the amount they are supposed to get MINUS the amount of skill points used up in the skill that was removed from their skill tree upon touching the portal or whatever. =/
