Mob Sprites Yeah..

Is there a way to add custom mob sprites without replacing the sprites of another monsters?

Going by the Mob_DB there is.. But if you do it, it just shows the Null Black Chonchon sprite..

I set sprites in the data folder and the Sprite_Name the same yet it still shows the Chonchon.

I've edited the Sprite_Name of other monsters in the mob_db and they all work perfectly fine.. So this leaves me with one answer.. This doesn't work.. Why is it that it's in the Mob_Db not to change the sprite_name when it doesn't absolutely nothing?

So yeah.. I was wonder if anyone knows of a way to add custom sprites without replacing another mob sprites.. Cause I'd very much like to add my own monsters.. And if I have alot of monsters then replacing sprites would suck cause I'd lose alot of the original mobs..

atm it is only possible if you use eathena, because in aegis the mobs are hardcoded in the server exe.
you need the XRay client for this.

There is a way to add completely new mob sprites but it does take a lot of hexing to client and Zone to make it work

just change the name of the mobs in the monstrosity tab and then the names in the mob_db.txt file and poof you added eathena on aegis. i did it. of course i use xray i think.
